Christian Classics Reading Group (open to all)

First Tuesdays of the month (September 1, October 6, November 3, December 1) at 7pm, Lower Level

This monthly reading group welcomes participants from any life stage and theological tradition. No advanced training or background knowledge necessary. Contact us to receive a book and reading assignment before the first meeting.

This fall we will read Henri Nouwen’s Life of the Beloved.  This more modern classic explores the message that we are beloved by God, and if we truly understand and believe that, it will change the way we live our lives.  This simple work has had profound impact on people all over the world.  In the spring we will follow up with another Nouwen work, In the Name of Jesus.  While each semester can be enjoyed separately, together they will make for an insightful year of reading.
